The National Society of Film Critics honored this year’s best achievements in cinema at the 42nd annual awards ceremony last Saturday.
Here are the winners:
Best Picture – There Will Be Blood
Best Director – Paul Thomas Anderson, There Will Be Blood
Best Actor – Daniel Day-Lewis, There Will be Blood
Best Actress – Julie Christie, Away from Her
Best Supporting Actor – Casey Affleck, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Best Supporting Actress – Cate Blanchett, I’m Not There
Best Documentary – No End in Sight, directed by Charles Ferguson
Best Cinematography – Robert Elswit, There Will Be Blood
Best Screenplay – Tamara Jenkins, The Savages
