The 14th annual Sarajevo Film Festival closed on Saturday, when Buick Riviera, a Croatian-Bosnian co-production filmed in the U.S. was announced as the winner.
Directed by Goran Rusinovic, Buick Riviera follows two refugees from opposite sides of the war, played by Slavko Stimac and Leon Lucev, who are unable to pull away from the aftermath of the events in the 1990s no matter how far they go. The two actors shared the Heart of Sarajevo award for their performances in the film.
