European Film Academy announces selections for 2008 European Film Awards

The European Film Academy (EFA) has released the list of the potential nominees for this year’s European Film Awards.
The list includes 44 films from 27 countries, with France, the U.K., and Germany leading the pack with multiple nominations. The official list of nominated films will be announced on November 8 at the Sevilla European Film Festival, after EFA’s 1,800 members have had a chance to vote for the nominees in a number of categories.
The 21st annual European Film Awards ceremony will take place in Copenhagen on December 6.
