Pablo Larrain’s Tony Manero wins top prize at Turin Film Festival

Tony Manero, the drama about a serial killer obsessed with John Travolta’s character from Saturday Night Fever, has won the top prize at the 26th annual Turin Film Festival, which closed on Saturday. Chilean director Pablo Larrain also took the FIPRESCI prize for best film, while Alfredo Castro won best actor honours.

Emmanuelle Devos won the best actress award her performance in The Unspoken (Non-Dit), a Belgian film written and directed by Fien Troch.

The Jury presented a special award to director Sean Baker for his Prince of Broadway, a drama about two men who meet in the New York fashion district.
