Here is a fun morning discovery, especially if you are a Buffy or Terminator geek (or both):
Strike TV has a new web series up (two episodes so far, with another one coming soon) called John’s Hand, and it stars Garret Dillahunt (Deadwood, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Kali Rocha (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Grey’s Anatomy).
Written and directed by theatre and television veteran Catherine Butterfield, John’s Hand brings us a scientist named John (Dillahunt) who gets a new perspective on his marriage when his sister (Rocha) comes to visit him. Marin Hinkle (Two and a Half Men) plays the neglected wife.
Other than playing what is now his fourth character on The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dillahunt also has a couple of movies coming out soon: Wes Craven’s new version of The Last House on the Left and John Hillcoat’s The Road.

Strike TV is one of the positive side-effects of last winter’s writers’ strike. In December 2007, they started urging WGA members to write original content for the web, which Strike TV would then host along with ads. The ad revenue profits go to entertainment industry professionals negatively impacted by the strike. Make sure you visit.
