The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the list of seven films that have been shortlisted for the best makeup Oscar.
The films are: The Road, Star Trek, District 9, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Il Divo, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and The Young Victoria.
The final three nominees that will compete in the makeup category at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards will be announced with all the other Oscar nominees on February 2.
This year, the Academy Awards ceremony takes place on March 7.
