Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Toressani cast on Caprica

Eric Stoltz will join Esai Morales as the other leading man on Caprica, the much anticipated Battlestar Galactica prequel. Stoltz has been cast as Daniel Graystone, a wealthy computer genius who creates the very first Cylon model, based on an online avatar of his daughter, Zoe.

The role of Zoe Graystone has also been cast, writes Hollywood Reporter, and it has gone to 21-year-old Alessandra Toressani. Those who watched Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will remember her as the girl who took a leap off the school building in mid-season. Toressani’s other television appearances include Malcolm in the Middle, Arrested Development and, more recently, Bones.
