Television Without Pity has revealed the winners of this year’s Tubey Awards, voted by television fans across a number of categories.
Josh Friedman‘s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles scored as many as 15 Tubeys (of the positive variety), including Best Drama, Best Returning Show, Best Single Episode, Best Season Finale, Best Smackdown, Best Onscreen Death and Favourite Actress.
Even though the show was cancelled by Fox in May, there is still a chance it might return as a TV/DVD movie, so let’s hope that the huge overseas DVD sales and the strength of the online fandom (see below) count for something with Warner executives.
The other big winner this year was How I Met Your Mother (six Tubeys, including Best Comedy and Favourite Actor), while Grey’s Anatomy got the short end of the stick and was panned in nine different categories. (Apparently brain tumors and zombie sex didn’t work out for some people.)
