Life gets a full season on NBC

NBC will pick up nine additional episodes of its sophomore drama "Life" (Wednesdays, 9 p.m. ET), giving the series a full-season order for 2008-09, it was announced today by Ben Silverman, Co-Chairman, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios. David Tennant announces Doctor Who exit

David Tennant has announced that he will leave the award winning BBC One drama Doctor Who when he has completed the filming of four special episodes which will be screened in 2009 and early in 2010. Tudors, Englishman’s Boy rule at Gemini Awards

Emmy winning drama The Tudors and miniseries adaptation of Guy Vanderhaeghe's award-winning 1996 novel, The Englishman's Boy, were the big winners at last night's Gemini Awards ceremony. Dexter gets two more seasons on Showtime

The Emmy-nominated drama Dexter has been picked up for two more seasons by Showtime, the network announced earlier today. The Tudors series leads the pack at 2008 Gemini Awards
