Empire names 500 Greatest Movies of All Time

Empire magazine has posted the list of The 500 Greatest Movies of All Time. The Godfather, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Empire Strikes Back took the first three spots, while the usual number one, Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, ended up in the 28th place. 30 Rock, Mad Men and John Adams were the big winners at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards, presented last night by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Television Without Pity has posted the winners of this year's Tubey Awards, voted by viewers across the globe. Lost, Battlestar Galactica, House, 30 Rock and How I Met Your Mother are among the shows that scored several wins in the positive categories, while Heroes and Grey's Anatomy picked up a few uncomplimentary Tubeys this year. Slumdog Millionaire audience’s favourite at Toronto Film Festival

The 33rd Toronto International Film Festival closed over the weekend. British director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Sunshine) took home the Cadillac People's Choice Award and the $15,000 prize for his latest feature, Slumdog Millionaire, a story about a teenage Indian orphan who is about to win 20 million rupees on India's edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Winners of Creative Arts Primetime Emmys announced

HBO's acclaimed drama John Adams, AMC's award winning Mad Men, NBC's 30 Rock, and SCI FI's fan favourite Battlestar Galactica were just some of the shows that took home Creative Primetime Emmys this weekend.
