Winners of Creative Arts Primetime Emmys announced

HBO's acclaimed drama John Adams, AMC's award winning Mad Men, NBC's 30 Rock, and SCI FI's fan favourite Battlestar Galactica were just some of the shows that took home Creative Primetime Emmys this weekend. Peace Arch's Emmy winning and Golden Globe nominated television series The Tudors, broadcast on the CBC Television Network, received 12 Gemini Award nominations from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television last week. 2008 Primetime Emmy nominations are out

The nominees for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced earlier today. Notably absent on the list of best dramas is Battlestar Galactica. This, along with the failure to include Mary McDonnell on the list of best actresses, is probably the single most unforgivable omission this year. (And seriously, Lost?
