Slumdog Millionaire, 30 Rock, Mad Men win PGA honours

Producers Guild of America (PGA) has awarded Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire with the Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award, effectively naming it the best film of the year. In the television categories, the honours went to three Emmy and Globe winners: HBO series John Adams, AMC's Mad Men, and NBC's 30 Rock. British Academy releases final BAFTA nominations

The British Academy released the final list of nominees for this year's British Academy Film Awards on Thursday morning. Broadcast Film Critics honour Slumdog Millionaire, Heath Ledger, Sean Penn

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) announced the winners of the 14th Critics' Choice Awards at a ceremony held yesterday at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Slumdog Millionaire was the big winner of the evening, taking five awards for Best Picture, Best Director for Danny Boyle, Best Writer for Simon Beaufoy, Best Young Actor/Actress for Dev Patel and Best Composer for A.R.
