Boston Film Critics vote Wall-E, Slumdog Millionaire Best Movies of the Year

The Boston Society of Film Critics awarded top honours to Wall-E and Slumdog Millionaire in a vote for the Best Movies of the Year. This is the second big win for Wall-E coming from a critics’ association. The film already won the Best Picture Award from the Los Angeles Critics Association earlier this month. 2008 Golden Globe nominations announced

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has revealed the nominees for the 2008 Golden Globes. Among films, Frost/Nixon, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Doubt are leading the pack with five nominations each. In Treatment and Recount also nabbed five each in the television categories. Wall-E voted Best Picture by Los Angeles Critics Association

Disney-PIXAR's Wall-E has become the first animated feature in history to win the title of Best Picture from the Los Angeles Critics Association. The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the nominees for the 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards.
