International Press Academy announces Satellite Award nominees

The International Press Academy has revealed the nominations for the 13th Annual Satellite Awards. In the running for best picture are Frost/Nixon, Frozen River, Milk, Revolutionary Road, Slumdog Millionaire and The Reader. The Satellite Awards will be presented at the ceremony on December 14 at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City. Durham County, The Englishman’s Boy sweep Gemini Awards

Canadian crime drama Durham County, which follows a homicide cop who lives next door to a serial killer, won three trophies at the 23rd Gemini Awards this Friday.
