American Film Institute has revealed the winners of the 2008 AFI Awards, including the annual lists of the best films and television programs of the year. Disney-PIXAR's Wall-E has become the first animated feature in history to win the title of Best Picture from the Los Angeles Critics Association. Benjamin Button, Milk lead Critics’ Choice Award nominations

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the nominees for the 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards. The winners will be announced at the Critics' Choice Awards gala on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. International Press Academy announces Satellite Award nominees

The International Press Academy has revealed the nominations for the 13th Annual Satellite Awards. In the running for best picture are Frost/Nixon, Frozen River, Milk, Revolutionary Road, Slumdog Millionaire and The Reader. The Satellite Awards will be presented at the ceremony on December 14 at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
