2008 Primetime Emmy nominations are out

The nominees for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced earlier today. Notably absent on the list of best dramas is Battlestar Galactica. This, along with the failure to include Mary McDonnell on the list of best actresses, is probably the single most unforgivable omission this year. (And seriously, Lost? Television Critics announce 2008 TCA Awards nominees

The Television Critics Association has released the list of the nominees for this year's TCA Awards. The awards will be presented on Saturday, July 19. AMC's Golden Globe winning series Mad Men, which returns for a second season on July 27, and the final season of HBO's crime drama The Wire are leading the pack with four nominations each.
