European Film Awards nominations announced

The nominations for the 21st European Film Awards were announced at the Seville European Film Festival. With five nominations each, Paolo Sorrentino's Il Divo and Matteo Garrone's Gomorrah are leading the pack this year. The 1,800 European Film Academy (EFA) members will now cast their votes and the winners of the 2008 EFA Awards will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen on December 6. Spike TV announces 2008 Scream nominees – time to vote

Spike TV has announced the Advisory Board and nominees for Scream 2008. The Scream awards honour the best works in the comic book, science fiction and fantasy genre. European Film Academy announces People’s Choice Award nominees

The European Film Academy has released the list of the nominees for this year's People's Choice Awards. The movies cover a pretty wide range of genres, from fantasy (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) and horror ([Rec], The Orphanage) to epic (Arn: The Knight Templar) and period drama (Atonement).
